In 1934, a Ford dealership opened in Barnwell County, South Carolina — the same county, the same road it sits on today. That is the founding fact we can vouch for; the store has changed hands and generations since, the way any business that survives nine decades does.

1989: a plant manager comes home

Howard Bush bought the dealership in 1989. He's a Barnwell County native and a graduate of South Carolina State University, and before he owned a dealership he managed a plant for Owens Corning. For more than thirty years since, he has run B&B Ford alongside his sons and a team of about twenty-five people.

Today: the next generation, and the same team
